Evaluation Services

Opportunities abound, particularly in aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing. Your team understands how to help founders build teams, lead funding rounds, and manage growth. To properly evaluate opportunity you need clearheaded review of the technical underpinnings of your potential portfolio companies. To help them grow you need to help them identify the skills they need and bring experienced help to bear immediately. This is where Beech comes in!
Our team has experience spanning aerospace engineering, and has participated in many of the most exciting companies and programs in the last twenty years. We have built rocket engines, avionics suites, test sites, autonomous taxis, missile interceptors, and more. We have taken our programs from concept definition through architecture, layout, design, development, qualification, and flight. We have lived and worked in labs, test sites, and launch pads. We know what it takes to get it done, and can help your companies get there.

Technical Assessment

Beech provides a first-principles approach to technical evaluation. We look at the underlying science and evaluate the potential for founders to realize their claims. We help potential investors understand the risks and timelines inherent in a technical investment, whether it's a pre-seed startup with a good idea or a multibillion dollar acquisition of a complex capital asset.

Risk Evaluation

The best-laid technical development plans are always optimistic. Beech helps investors and leaders understand the risk posture of the program as it evolves with time, and provides rigorous technical support for mitigation planning, risk burndown, and risk retirement. We help founders, program managers, system engineers, chief engineers, executives and investors architect programs with the highest probability of success.

Mission Assurance

Beech leverages nearly four decades of experience with complex, flight-proven systems and deep expertise in critical mission systems to protect your personnel, facilities, and mission from oversight and preventable problems. Our experts provide a comprehensive analysis of the risks to your mission, along with recommendations for greater resiliency. We spend time with your team to understand your unique missions, purpose, and requirements to get a full picture.

Independent Review

Beech Systems is available to support in-person design reviews, offline detailed review, and in-depth analysis. Our team of seasoned aerospace and defense veterans provides a clear, well-reasoned assessment of your system and identifies areas of improvement. We work with your team to develop plans and contingencies to make your product the most resilient and robust it can possibly be.

Risk Assessments and Failure Mode Analyses

With decades of experience managing product design, analysis, and development testing through entire life cycles, we have accumulated intuitive and comprehensive approaches to risk level assessments and failure mode analyses. Leverage our insight for your design reviews and test plan development efforts to ensure every corner case is considered.

Root Cause and Corrective Actions

When analysis and testing can’t provide the full envelope of operating conditions, anomalies can occur. Failure investigations demand comprehensive fault tree construction, in-depth data reviews, and creative ways to disseminate important information. These tasks can oversaturate teams, cause schedule delays, and stunt forward progress where it’s needed most. Our team has the experience to develop and close failure investigations and develop mitigation efforts quickly and thoroughly. We can provide surge support and insight where you need it most, when you need it most.
